Rooted in Memory: Legacy Management with Jehoiada Calvin

This workshop will use group discussion with instructive presentations to foster learning and knowledge-production from both the participants and the facilitator. Participants will discuss the importance of memory in their lives and what it means to manage legacies, especially while honoring themselves and others. The facilitator will present on memory work practices outside of institutional archive, followed by traditional archiving methods with particular considerations for personal and community archiving. The program will conclude with a Q&A session to address any other concerns that participants have.
